Month One Must Haves
These are the products that got me and my babe through month one:
Snuggle Me Organic
The Snuggle Me Organic was a lifesaver! When we came home from the hospital, baby only wanted to sleep on me. After a night or two we were able to successfully move babe into the Snuggle Me Organic and we never looked back.
Stokke Tub with Newborn Insert
The best part about this tub is that it folds up and fits into my cupboard. It’s nice not having to shower with a baby bath every time (especially when you only have one bathroom like us!)
Kewe Spit Up Bibs 🇨🇦
We had a spitter, so we always needed a bib while feeding or he’d ruin his clothes. What I love about these bibs is how small they are. They are perfect for a newborn, not to mention the adorable patterns.
Little Unicorn Muslin Blankets
I keep one of these in every room and every bag. I truly believe you can’t have enough muslin blankets. They are so versatile and Little Unicorn has the best selection of designs. I’m sort of addicted to them and it’s sort of a problem.
OVer Cover 🇨🇦
Baby is always sleeping during this first month, or at least you hope! The OVer cover helped keep baby asleep and jazzed up our boring car seat with their awesome patterns. It also works as a nursing cover when you’re still getting used to the whole nursing thing.
ergopouch sleep sack
We tried a few sleep sacks and ended we up here. The Ergopouch is super soft, comes nm a variety of different weights and has the option for arms in or arms out.
Breastfeeding Pillow 🇨🇦
I didn’t think I’d need a breastfeeding pillow and tried make-shifting support. The first month it feels like about 90% of your time is boob out, so eventually I gave in. This pillow made feeding so much more comfortable. It’s so big and fluffy and literally the softest thing ever.
Waterwipes
I LOVE these! Babe has had a rash everywhere on his body, except for diaper rash (so he definitely has sensitive skin) and I’m crediting the Water Wipes!
Human + mother wrap 🇨🇦
Baby loves to be held and this wrap keeps baby nice and snuggly. It’s the best hands-free cuddle!
